Sergio Posada-Pérez, new JdC-F and Marie Curie fellow at IQCC

Dr. Sergio Posada-Pérez has recently become a new member of the Institute of Computational Chemistry and Catalysis (IQCC) with Juan de la Cierva – Formación and  Marie Sklodowska-Curie IF fellowships, Dr. Posada-Pérez did his PhD at the University of Barcelona on heterogeneous catalysis of green chemistry reactions on molybdenum carbide based catalysts under the supervision of Prof. Francesc Illas in 2018. He has postdocotral experience at the Université Catholique de Louvain (France) in the Prof. Geoffroy Hautier group for 3 years.

At this moment, he holds a postdoc position in the Miquel Solà group of the IQCC. He is working on elucidating fullerene-perovskite interactions by means of first-principles calculations. He started in July 2021 and he will be in the IQCC until, at least, June 2023.
