One of the priorities of the IQCC is to strengthen the connections with industry, both nationally and internationally. Continuation of ongoing collaborative research efforts and initiating new joint projects are a high priority for the institute. Actually, there are several collaborations with the private sector. Furthermore, this month, Dr. Sílvia Osuna has started a new one with the international company Proteus by SEQENS, member of the SEQENS Group in France. Dr. Sílvia Osuna is the group leader of the Computational Enzyme Design research line from IQCC at the Universitat de Girona. Thanks to this one-year collaboration agreement her group will computationally explore and design different enzymatic systems of industrial interest.
