Job description: The candidate will join the project entitled “An Overarching Approach to Precision Medicine: from Pharmacoproteomics to Pharmacovigilance (PREMED+)”. In particular, the candidate will be taking on the part of the project dedicated to developing novel tools for precision pharmacoproteomics. This will involve methods for protein surface scanning and de novo design of novel bioactive ligands binding to therapeutically-relevant protein mutants.

Job description: The PhD candidate will investigate using computational tools the fundamental principles of chemical bonding and aromaticity in ground and excited states of ?-conjugated compounds and the application of these principles for the design of the next generation of π-conjugated species for its application in solar cells and OLEDs. Ground and excited state calculations and machine learning procedures will be applied to reach the objective.
