ICREA is a foundation promoted by the Catalan Government whose aim is to stimulate excellent research in Catalonia. Albert Poater, a principal investigator of IQCC, won the Academy of Excellence Program (ICREA Acadèmia) awards 2025 for his research carrier. It is the second time that he receives this award (after 2019) to recognize the research work that he is doing in the IQCC.
