Prof. Miquel Solà has started a new one with the national company
Arcelormittal.
Prof. Miquel Solà is a researcher group leader from IQCC at the Universitat de Girona. Thanks to this 18-months collaboration agreement his group will do simulation and modeling of different reactions of industrial interest.
Arcelormittal is the world’s leading steel and mining producer, present in 60 countries and with primary steel production facilities in 16 countries. The aim of this company is to create smarter steels for people and the planet. Steels manufactured using innovative processes with lower energy consumption, substantially lower carbon emissions and lower costs. Steels that are greener, stronger and more reusable. Steels for electric vehicles and renewable energy infrastructures that will support societies in their transformation process throughout this century.
