The project #NitRecerCat: La Nit Europea de la Recerca, within the HORIZON-MSCA-2022-CITIZENS call, aims to celebrate the European Researchers’ Night in Catalonia as well as take Researchers at Schools . The consortium, coordinated by Dr. Sílvia Simon, includes partners from different Catalan cities. Universitat de Barcelona, Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Universitat de Lleida, Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya, and ISGLOBAL will be in charge of designing different activities in order to bring the research as well as the researchers closer to the society all around Catalonia. Fundació Bofill is bringing researchers to schools within the program #NitEduCat schools while Associació Catalana de Comunicació Científica is in charge of the global communication of the activities. The MSCA grant is 300.000€ for a period of two years (4/2022-3/2024). The Càtedra de Cultura Científica i Comunicació Digital (C4D) unit of the UdG, together with the IQCC, will be in charge of the Girona activities, centered around hands-on experiments, workshops, quizzes, etc. The main objective is to show “Research for Change”, which in the present situation everybody is aware of.
