Every year, there is an Open Days at the University of Girona: a unique opportunity for high-school students to get to know first hand the campuses, centres, sports facilities, training on offer and a wide range of cultural activities. This time, the IQCC together with the Scientific Culture and Digital Communication (C4D) unit of the UdG did some activities for JPO 2022 with the aim to bring our science closer to high-school students.
Last Friday, February 11, 2021, Open Days “Jornada de Portes Obertes 2022” took place at Science Faculty of UdG. The event was organized from 09.30h to 13.30h, where there were different informative talks, workshops and stands. The IQCC participated in a workshop on “Catàlisi: a on la trobem?” by the postdoctoral researcher Dr. Hugo Valdés and the PhD student Msc. Cristina Durant to show our chemistry to high-school students and another workshop on “Màgia a la Ciència” organized by C4D.
