Dr. Siu-Chung Chan has recently become a new member of the Institute of Computational Chemistry and Catalysis (IQCC). Dr. Chan did his PhD at City University of Hong Kong (China) on synthesis, spectroscopic and theoretical studies of ruthenium complexes containing nitrosoarene ?pyridine hybrid ligands under the supervision of Dr. Alex Chun-Yuen Wong in 2014. He has postdoctoral experience at the Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) for 3 years. At this moment, he holds a postdoc position in the Miquel Costas group of the IQCC. He is working on supramolecular approaches towards enantioselective C-H oxidation with bioinspired complexes. He started in February 2021 and he will be in the IQCC until, at least, February 2022.
We wish him good luck in his research work!
