Dr. Ram Mahato has recently become a new member of the Institute of Computational Chemistry and Catalysis (IQCC). Dr. Mahato did his PhD at National Yang-Ming University, Taiwan on predicting functional details of E5 Protein from Human Papillomavirus using computational modeling approaches under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Wolfgang B. Fischer in 2017. He has postdoctoral experience at Umeå University, Sweden for 2.5 years. At this moment, he holds a postdoc position in the Sílvia Osuna group of the IQCC. He is working on network models for the computational design of conformational and kinetic ensembles of enzymes during functional transitions. He started in February 2021 and he will be in the IQCC until, at least, May 2022.
We wish him good luck with his research!
