Best oral presentation awards at 12a Trobada de Joves Investigadors dels Paá»sos Catalans in Girona

This week at the 12a Trobada de Joves Investigadors dels Paá»sos Catalans conference in Girona, three IQCC PhD students won awards for the best talk in different symposia.

ÔÇó Valentina Iannace, PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Xavi Ribas, presented her work on Regioselective bisáfunctionalization of fullerene C70 via supramolecular mask strategy, and won one of the best oral presentation awards in the Materials symposium.

ÔÇó Marc Montilla, PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Josep Maria Luis and Dr. Pedro Salvador, presented his work on Eliminant la dependá¿ncia de l’origen en les descomposicions de la polaritzabilitat, and won one of the best oral presentation awards in the Theory and modelling symposium.

ÔÇó Sergio Fernández, PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Josep Maria Luis and Dr. Julio Lloret-Fillol (ICIQ), presented his work on Estudi mecanístic de la reducciñ electroquímica de CO2 amb un catalitzador organomet lálic de manganá¿s(I), and won one of the best oral presentation awards in the Catalysis symposium.
