Albert Artigas, new Margarita Salas postdoc fellow at IQCC

Dr. Albert Artigas has recently become a new member of the Institute of Computational Chemistry and Catalysis (IQCC). Dr. Artigas did his PhD at the IQCC/University of Girona on cyclization reactions for the functionalization of fullerenes: Experimental and theoretical studies under the supervision of Prof. Anna Roglans, Prof. Miquel Sol and Dr. Agustí Lledñ in 2020. He has postdocotral experience at the Aix-Marseille Universitá® (France) in the Prof. Yoann Coquerel group for more than 2 years.

At this moment, he holds a Margarita Salas Fellow position in Prof. Miquel Sol ‘s group of the IQCC. He is working on singlet fission in fullerene-based single-material organic solar cells. He started in April 2023 and he will be in the IQCC until, at least, March 2024.
