Gibu George awarded best PhD thesis 2025

Last week, our former member of IQCC Gibu George was awarded the annual recognition of the best PhD thesis in 2025 (Premi Extraordinari) from the University of Girona. Last year, he defended with success his PhD thesis on “Computational study and design of materials for photovoltaic applications”, supervised by Prof. Miquel Solà, Dr. Anton Stasyuk. Now, Gibu is continuing his research as a Juan de la Cierva fellow at ICIQ.
