Yago García-Rodeja, new María Zambrano fellow at IQCC

Dr. García-Rodeja has recently become a new member of the Institute of Computational Chemistry and Catalysis (IQCC) as a María Zambrano Fellow. Dr. García-Rodeja received his PhD in Chemistry from Complutense University of Madrid in 2018. During his PhD, he worked with Prof. Israel Fernández on understanding the reactivity of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and related compounds. He has postdoctoral experience at Universite de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour (UPPA) and CNRS-Universite de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour (UPPA) for 3 years. At this moment, he holds a María Zambrano Fellow position in Prof. Miquel Solà’s group of the IQCC. He is working in the influence of aromaticity on organiometallic systems. He started in April 2022 and he will be in the IQCC until, al least, March 2024.

We wish him good luck in his research work!
