Dr. Yeamin has recently become a new member of the Institute of Computational Chemistry and Catalysis (IQCC) as a Margarita Salas Fellow. Dr. Yeamin received his PhD in Chemistry from University Rovira i Virgili in 2021. During his PhD, he worked with Prof. Anna M. Masdeu Bultó and Dr. Mar Reguero on carbon dioxide cycloaddition into cyclic carbonates: Synergies from computational to experimental studies. At this moment, he holds a Margarita Salas Fellow position in Dr. Albert Poater’s group of the IQCC. He is looking into dual catalysis in alkyne functionalization and predictive catalysis in CO2 hydrogenation. He started in February 2022 and he will be in the IQCC until, al least, January 2024.
